How do I use the job checklist and photos?

Open the job, type a step under To do and tick it when it's done. Click Add photos to take before and after shots from your phone.

Updated October 22, 2026

Each job has a To do checklist and a Photos box. Type the steps, tick them on site, and add before and after photos from your phone. Everyone on the job sees the same list and photos.

Also called: job checklist, work steps, job photos, before and after pictures, liste de tâches, photos du travail, photos avant après, travaux, job, technicien

Step 1: Open the job

Open the job from Jobs, Schedule or your day on the Dashboard. The To do box sits under the address and how to get there.

Click: the job

Step 2: Add the steps

Type a step in Add a task, for example "Change the filter", then press Enter or click +. Add as many as you need, up to 30. To remove one, click the × beside it.

Click: Add a task › +

Step 3: Tick them on site

Tap a line to tick it when it's done. The count at the top shows how many are done, for example "2 of 5". Tap it again to untick it.

Step 4: Add photos

In Photos, click Add photos. On a phone, you can take a picture or pick several from your gallery. They upload one after the other, and you see "Sending 3 photos…" while they go. Tap a photo to see it big, with the date and time it was taken.

Click: Add photos

Good to know

  • The technician on the job can tick, add lines and add photos. Teammates who only view jobs can look but not change.

  • A job holds up to 40 photos. Photos are made smaller before they upload, so they go through on a weak signal.

  • To delete a photo, open it and click Delete photo. The person who took it, or someone who plans jobs, can delete it.

  • With the Tasks module on, a line that needs a follow-up can become a task: click "Turn into a task" beside it. The line then shows a Task chip.

  • Ticking lines never blocks Finish and invoice. You can finish with lines left.

  • You can ask Ask Alori: "Add 'check the thermostat' to the Chen job."

If it doesn't work

  • "Only photos can be added (JPEG, PNG or WebP)." The file isn't a photo, or it's too large. Pick a photo instead.

  • "A photo could not be sent. Try again." The signal dropped. Click Add photos and pick it again.

  • "That didn't work. Try again." The change didn't save, or the job already has 30 lines or 40 photos. Remove one, then try again.
