How do I preview my app on a phone or a computer?
Use the Computer and Phone buttons above the preview to switch screen size, pick a page in Page to preview, and click Live app to open your real app.
Above the preview, click Computer or Phone to see your app at that screen size. Use Page to preview to jump to any page, the refresh button to reload it, and Live app to open the real app your team uses.
Also called: mobile view, phone view, desktop view, screen size, responsive, preview, aperçu, vue mobile, vue téléphone, taille d'écran
Step 1: Pick a screen size
At the top right of the preview, click the phone icon (Phone) to see how your app looks on a cell, or the screen icon (Computer) for a computer. These buttons show on larger screens.
Click: Screen size › Phone or Computer
Step 2: Choose the page to preview
Click the page address above the preview (Page to preview). The list groups your pages under Website and Management app. Click one to open it. You can also click around inside the preview like in the real app.
Click: Page to preview › a page
Step 3: Refresh if needed
If the preview looks stuck or out of date, click the round arrow (Refresh preview).
Click: Refresh preview
Step 4: Open your live app
At the top left of the preview, the Live app tag is your app's real address. Click it to open the live app in a new tab, already signed in. Click the copy icon (Copy address) to share the address with your team, or the pencil (Change address) to change it.
Before your first publish, the tag shows Not published: "Your app's address. It goes live when you publish."
Click: Live app or Copy address
On a small screen
The chat and the preview don't fit side by side, so a switch at the top lets you pick Chat or Preview. The number on Preview is how many changes aren't published yet. To see the phone size exactly, you can also open your Live app on your own phone.
If it doesn't work
"Your hosted preview URL isn't ready yet." Your app is still being set up. Wait a minute.
"We couldn't finish hosting setup." Click Try again. Our team has been told.
No Computer and Phone buttons. Your window is narrow. Make it wider, or open the Live app on your phone.
