How it works
Your app has one set of data. The preview and the app your team uses both read and write it.
Data you add or change in the preview is real. Customers, jobs, quotes and invoices are the same ones your team sees.
Emails and texts sent from the preview really go out, and they use credits like any other.
New screens wait for Publish. Your team keeps the screens they have until you publish.
What the change stores and saves goes live right away. When Alori saves a change, the part that stores your data (for example a new Gate code field) is updated for the whole app at once. Alori makes sure your team's current screens keep working with it.
Step 1: Try a change in the preview
Click around the preview like you would in the real app. Be careful with anything that sends: a quote, an invoice, a text. Send it to yourself if you're only testing.

Step 2: Publish when the screens are ready
Click Publish. The window says your updates go live for your team and "Your data doesn't change: the preview already uses it." Click Publish now.

Sample data
A new app comes with sample customers so you can try things. They live in your real data too, and you can remove them from the notice in your team app.
Going back to an earlier version
Restoring a version from History brings back how your app looked and worked, not your data. "Your data stays as it is now."
If it doesn't work
"Publishing didn't work, so your team's app wasn't changed. Try again in a moment." Click Publish again shortly.
I sent something by mistake from the preview. It really went out. Follow up with the customer, then fix the record in your app.
