How do I add someone to my team and choose their role?
Open Users and click Add someone. Type their name and email (or tap an employee), pick their role and send the invitation. Change a role's access under Roles.
Everyone on your team signs in with their own account, and their role decides what they see and change. Open Users in the menu to add someone, change their role, or set what each role allows.
Also called: team members, teammates, staff, permissions, access, invite, utilisateurs, rôles, accès, inviter
Step 1: Add someone
In Users, click Add someone. Type their Name and Email, or tap one of your employees who has no access yet (it fills both). Pick their Role: each one says in a sentence what it allows. Employee is picked first, since it sees the least. Click Send the invitation.
Click: Users › Add someone › Send the invitation
They get an email with a link valid for 7 days, and continue with Google or choose their own password. If the email can't leave, copy the link and send it to them yourself.
To give them a first password instead (no email), open More options and turn on Create the account with a first password.
Step 2: Change someone's role
On People, tap the role next to their name, then pick another role. Their access changes right away. Remove from the team is in the same menu: they are signed out, and their employee file stays.
Click: Users › the role next to a name › a role
Step 3: See or change what a role allows
Click Roles. Each role shows how many people have it and what it allows. Tap one to set each module to None, View or Edit, and the switches: see only their own jobs, see prices, change the stages and price list. Every change saves at once, for everyone with the role.
Click: Users › Roles › a role
To make a new one, click New role, name it, pick what it starts from (Office, Technician, … or Empty) and click Create the role. Its access opens next.
