How do I upgrade my app to the newest Alori features?

Click Upgrade above the preview, then Upgrade my app. Alori brings in the new features and keeps your own changes. It uses credits, like a change.

Updated October 22, 2026

When a new version of Alori is ready, an Upgrade button shows above the preview. Click it, then Upgrade my app. Alori adds the newest features to your app and keeps every change you made. Upgrading uses credits, the same as asking for a change in chat.

Also called: update, new version, new features, latest Alori, what's new, mettre à jour, nouvelle version, nouveautés, mise à niveau

Step 1: Click Upgrade

The Upgrade button (a circle with an up arrow) sits at the top of the preview, next to Settings. It only shows when new features are waiting. Hover it to see how many, like "1 new feature".

Click: Upgrade

Step 2: Read what's new

The Upgrade your app window lists the New features. "Get the newest Alori features in your app. Your own changes stay as they are."

Click: nothing yet, read the list

Step 3: Click Upgrade my app

Click Upgrade my app. The chat shows "Your app is getting the newest Alori". It takes a few minutes, and your app keeps working while it happens.

Click: Upgrade my app

Step 4: Check and publish

When it's done, look at the preview. Your team gets the new features when you click Publish, then Publish now.

Click: Publish › Publish now

When some of your changes don't fit

Sometimes a change you made doesn't fit into the new version. Alori lists those first and asks. Click Update anyway to upgrade (those parts go back to how Alori makes them, and you can ask Alori to redo your changes after), or Keep my app as it is to wait.

If it doesn't work

  • "You're out of credits. Add some to upgrade your app; the new features are waiting here." Click Add credits, then upgrade.

  • "Wait for the current change to finish, then try again." Another change is running. Try again when it's done.

  • "Your app is already on the newest version." There's nothing to upgrade right now.

  • "I couldn't apply this update, so nothing was modified." Your app stays as it was, and you weren't charged. Try again later.
