Updated October 22, 2026

Open Meetings and click Import. Choose a recording or a transcript from Zoom, Teams, Meet or your phone, or paste the text. Check the title, the time and who it was with, then click Import. Alori writes the summary and next steps, like for a recorded meeting.

Also called: upload a recording, import Zoom, import Teams, Google Meet transcript, add notes from a call, importer une réunion, téléverser un enregistrement, transcription Zoom

Step 1: Open Import

On the Schedule, click Meetings, then Import.

Click: Schedule › Meetings › Import

Step 2: Add the file or the text

Click Choose a recording or a transcript, or drop the file. It can be a video or audio file (.mp4, .m4a) or a transcript (.vtt, .srt, .txt, .docx). No file? Click Paste the text instead and paste what was said, or your notes.

Step 3: Check the details

A file from Zoom, Meet or Teams fills the Title and When it started from its name. Under Customer, click Add the customer. Add Guests if you like.

Step 4: Import it

Click Import. You see Sending the file… %, then Alori is reading the file…. The meeting's page opens while Alori writes its notes.

Click: Import

Good to know

  • An imported meeting shows as Imported. It can't be joined, and no recap email goes out.

  • Its notes use credits like a recorded meeting's. A video is stored like one.

  • A recording can be up to 4 hours, and up to 4 GB. A transcript file, up to 25 MB.

  • Ask Alori can import pasted notes too: "Add my Zoom call with Sarah Chen this morning" with the transcript.

If it doesn't work

  • "Choose a file, or paste the text." Add a file or some text first.

  • "Alori can't read this kind of file yet. Use an .mp4, .m4a, .vtt, .srt, .txt or .docx file." Save it in one of these, then import again.

  • "This file is too big." Use a smaller file, or the transcript instead.

  • "This recording is over 4 hours, which is too long for notes." Split it, or import the transcript.

  • "Alori found no words in it." The file has no speech. Try the transcript.

  • "The file didn't finish sending. Check your connection and try again." Try again on a steady connection.

  • "You're out of credits." Add credits.

  • "Alori couldn't read this file, so this meeting has no notes. Delete it and import the file again." Delete the meeting, then import again.
