How do guests cancel or reschedule a meeting?

Every meeting invitation has a Cancel or reschedule link. Guests pick a new time when you're free, or cancel, and it changes for everyone.

Updated October 25, 2026

Every meeting you plan with guests has a Cancel or reschedule link in its invitation, like Calendly. A guest opens it, picks a new time when you're free, or cancels. The change is made for everyone invited, and you get an email.

Also called: reschedule link, change the time, move a meeting, cancel a meeting, replanifier, déplacer une réunion, annuler une réunion

In the invitation, under Need to make a change?, the guest clicks the link after Cancel or reschedule. They see the meeting, when it is and where.

Step 2: They pick a new time

They click Pick a new time, choose a day, then a time, and click Confirm the new time. Only times when you're free show up.

Click: Pick a new time › a day › a time › Confirm the new time

Step 3: Or they cancel

They click Cancel the meeting, then Yes, cancel it. It's cancelled for everyone.

Click: Cancel the meeting › Yes, cancel it

Good to know

  • The times offered are your booking hours. If you have none, it's weekdays from 9 to 5, in your business's time zone. Anything on your calendar, your jobs and your bookings are left out.

  • A guest can pick a time at least 1 hour away and up to 60 days ahead.

  • The change goes on your calendar, and everyone invited gets the new time (or the cancellation) by email.

  • You get an email saying a guest moved or cancelled it.

  • Guests can no longer change it once the meeting has started or its time has passed. An appointment from your booking page has its own link to change it.

If it doesn't work

  • "This meeting can't be changed online anymore." It has started, its time has passed, or you're changing it at the same moment. The guest can call you instead.

  • "Someone just took that time. Pick another one." That time just got busy. Pick another one.

  • "This meeting was cancelled, or the link no longer works." The meeting was cancelled. Plan a new one if needed.
