Good to know

  • x selects emails so you can archive, star, label or delete several at once.

  • On Tasks, the key C starts a new task. See How do I add a task quickly?

If it doesn't work

  • A key types a letter instead. Your cursor is in a box, like the search. Click on an empty part of the page, then press the key.

  • Nothing happens. A window or menu is open. Close it first.

  • Archive, star or labels don't work. You may see "Reconnect Gmail to tidy your inbox here". Click Reconnect.
