How do I use Home and the Inbox in Docs?
Home shows the pages you opened last, your upcoming reminders and favorites. The Inbox lists your mentions, comments, shares and reminders.
At the top of the Docs menu, click Home to find your recent pages, upcoming reminders and favorites, or Inbox to see what needs you: mentions, comments, pages shared with you and reminders.

Step 1: Open Home
Click Home. Recently visited shows the pages you opened last, newest first: only yours, and only pages you can still open. Upcoming lists your reminders still to come. Favorites lists the pages you starred. Under Start from a template, pick one to start a new page.

Step 2: Open the Inbox
Click Inbox. The red number next to it says how many notices are unread. Pick All or Unread at the top. Each notice says who did what on which page, with the words quoted.

Step 3: Act on a notice
Click a notice to open its page; it counts as read. On a comment, type your answer in Reply… and press Enter, or click Resolve, without leaving the Inbox. Click the archive button to take a notice out of the Inbox and the bell. Mark all as read clears the unread dots.
Good to know
The bell at the top of the app gets the same notices.
A notice about a page that's no longer shared with you leaves your Inbox.
