Click the microphone in the chat box and talk. Your words appear in the box; click the microphone again to stop, then press Send.

Updated October 22, 2026

Click the microphone in the chat box and say what you want. Your words show up in the box as you talk. Click the microphone again to stop, check the text, then press Send.

Also called: voice, dictate, talk, microphone, speech to text, dicter, parler, micro, voix

Step 1: Start the microphone

Click the microphone (Speak your request) next to the send button. The first time, your browser asks to use your microphone: allow it. The box says "Listening…" and small bars move while Alori hears you.

Click: Speak your request

Step 2: Say your request

Talk normally, for example "Add a column for the technician on the jobs list". Your words appear in the box. Anything you already typed stays, and your words are added after it. Alori listens in the language your Alori is set to.

Click: nothing, just talk

Step 3: Stop and send

Click the microphone again (Stop listening). Fix any word if needed, then press Send. Sending also stops the microphone.

Click: Stop listening › Send

If it doesn't work

  • "Allow microphone access in your browser to speak your request." Your browser blocked the microphone. Allow it in your browser's site settings, then click the microphone again.

  • There's no microphone button. Your browser can't turn speech into text. Try another browser, or type your request.

  • The words are wrong. Edit them in the box before you send, or say it again more slowly.
