How do I set up my price list?
Go to Settings › Catalog, click Add an item, enter a name and a price, then Save. Your items show up under Add from catalog on quotes and invoices.
Your price list is the Catalog: the services and parts you sell, each with its price. Add them once in Settings › Catalog, then add them to any quote or invoice in one click.
Also called: catalog, price book, services list, rates, liste de prix, catalogue, grille de prix, tarifs, prix pour les soumissions et factures
Step 1: Open the Catalog
Click Settings, then Catalog. You see every item with how often it's Billed and its Price.
Click: Settings › Catalog
Step 2: Add an item
Click Add an item. Enter its Name (for example "AC tune-up") and its Price. Under Billed, keep Once for a one-time service, or pick Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly for a maintenance plan. Click Save.
Click: Add an item › Save
Step 3: Change or remove an item
Click an item in the list to open it. Change what you need and click Save. To take it out, click Remove from catalog and confirm. Quotes and deals that already have it keep their line.
Click: the item › Save
Step 4: Use it on a quote
On a quote, click Add from catalog, search and pick the item. It's added as a line with its name and price, and you can still change the quantity or the price for this customer. Click Edit catalog to fix your list without leaving the quote.
Click: Add from catalog › the item
Good to know
Only the owner, and teammates whose role can Change stages and the price list, see the Catalog tab.
An item can have no price yet. It shows No price and you fill in the price on each quote.
You can ask Ask Alori to add or change a price, for example "Set the AC tune-up to $149".
Changing a price doesn't change quotes you already made.
If it doesn't work
"An item already has this name." Each name is used once. Open the existing item and change its price instead.
"Enter a price, like 149.99." The price has letters or is below zero. Type only the number.
Add from catalog is greyed out. Your catalog is empty. Add an item first.
