Open the task and pick Every week, Every month or Every year in Repeats. When you mark it done, Alori creates the next one with its new due date.

Also called: recurring task, repeat, every week, every month, routine, tâche récurrente, répéter, chaque semaine, chaque mois

Step 1: Open the task

Click Tasks in the left menu, then click the task.

Click: Tasks › the task

Step 2: Pick how often

In the panel on the right, open Repeats and pick Every week, Every month or Every year. It saves right away. Under it you see "The next one is created when this one is done."

Click: Repeats › Every month

Step 3: Mark it done

When the work is done, tick the task. The next one shows up in your list, due one week, month or year after the last due date (skipping any date that has already passed). Its Activity says made the next one.

Click: the task's circle

Good to know

  • The next task keeps the title, priority, assignee, customer, project and labels. Its subtasks start unticked.

  • A task that repeats shows a small repeat icon on the board.

  • A task due the 31st comes back on the 31st, or the last day of a shorter month.

  • To stop it, pick Doesn't repeat.

  • Need every 2 weeks or every 3 months? Ask Ask Alori: "make the filter change repeat every 3 months".

If it doesn't work

  • No next task appeared. It's made only when the task is marked Done, not Cancelled.

  • I can't change Repeats. Your role can only view tasks. Ask the owner.
