How do I follow up on quotes automatically?
In Settings › Automatic messages, turn on Quote follow-up and pick the days. A sent quote with no answer gets one reminder with its accept link.
Turn on Quote follow-up in Settings › Automatic messages. When a sent quote has no answer after the number of days you pick, Alori sends your customer one reminder, with the link to accept it online.
Also called: quote reminder, chase a quote, nudge, relance de soumission, rappel de soumission, suivi automatique
Step 1: Open Automatic messages
Click Settings, then Automatic messages. Only the owner sees this tab.
Click: Settings › Automatic messages
Step 2: Turn on Quote follow-up
Turn on Quote follow-up. It saves right away and you see Saved.
Click: Quote follow-up
Step 3: Pick how many days to wait
Under it, set Days: how long a sent quote waits without an answer before the reminder goes. It starts at 3. Type a number from 1 to 60, then click outside the box to save.
Step 4: Choose email, text or both
Under Send by, pick Email, Text or Both. It starts as Email. With Text or Both, you can change the wording of the text. Click Add a field to put in the customer's name, the quote number, the amount or the link. Check the preview, then click Save the text. Back to the default text undoes your changes.
Click: Send by › Save the text
Good to know
Each quote gets one follow-up, never more.
Only quotes marked Sent get one. Drafts and accepted quotes don't.
Turning it on never sends a pile of reminders for old quotes. Only quotes that reach their day after you turned it on count.
Messages go out only from your published app, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Time zone set on this page. Alori checks every hour.
Each email costs 0.01 credit. Texts cost credits too.
Customers who speak your other language get the default text in theirs.
Replies land in Conversations.
You can also ask Ask Alori: "Turn on quote follow-ups after 5 days."
If it doesn't work
"Texts go out once your number is active, in Alori under Phone system." Your app has no active phone number yet. Pick Email for now, or set up your number in Alori.
"That didn't work. Try again." Your change didn't save. Try again in a moment.
No reminder went out. Check that the quote is Sent, that the customer has an email (or a phone for texts), and that your app is published.
